Here are the salient points from his statement...

Funds were limited from both sites for me to work on our recovery plans but fortunately, I am able to combine the funds from my personal investment vehicle, NetBizMedia with the limited funds from both sites to speed up our recovery processes.

I will pay every members their dues, Ad-Pack purchases plus earnings and also interest at 1% a month. I am able to commit deadlines for commencement of payments for both sites. I have updated the front page of both sites to reflect the timings involved in my payment processes.

I need about $35K to $38K to pay all members of 30D-Ads and about $15K to $18K to pay all members of Club 2 Profits. Payments for 30D-Ads members will start from August 2008 till November 2008 (over 4 months) and payment for Club 2 Profits members will start from September 2008 till November 2008 (over 3 months).

I will pay all Site Admins first follow by members in order of seniority according to their referral nos, meaning member with referral no. 1 get paid first and last member who join our sites get paid last. No worry here as everyone will be paid ultimately over the 3 to 4 months period.

I am committing to spend about $10K for 30D-Ads payment plus over $5K for Club 2 Profits payment every month to meet the above deadlines.

By the end of November 2008, all members of both sites will be fully paid, by which time I will decide on the future fate of both sites - to reopen with new, realistic and viable plans or close both sites for good and retire from this industry.

My Surf Ads shows strong growth

Since the new admin/owners, Tom and Marg, purchased MySurfAds (along with ASN Monitor), there has been steady growth of members, which is nearing 1000. Future-Ads has established a good track record during the two months it has been operated by its admin, Angus. You must rate each ad that you view for 15 seconds before manually clicking to advance to the next one. Your rebate is 0.5% of the amount of your total ad pack purchases for viewing and rating 15 to 25 ads per day. The number increases from 15 to 20 and 25 if your total of purchases surpasses $250. You may withdraw at any time you have $3 or more in earnings but only once in each calendar month. Your ad packs do not expire for a whole year after the date of purchase. Your withdraw requests are processed the same day (terms allow up to 7 days) and are paid to your SolidTrustPay or LibertyReserve account. There are no purchase or cashout fees and you do not have to be upgraded to be paid. You may also earn 5% of the upgrades by your referrals. If you were interested in this opportunity and missed it, do you have any other comparable alternative? My opinion is that Jack Cobb's new offering, Maximum Adz Private Opportuntiy Program, provides a similar earning choice. It does not offer the short term plans like V-Lane, but MadzPoP improves the 1% daily plan by making your deposits non-expiring, rather than the 1-year expiration offered by V-Lane. Also, the monthly subscription fee for MadzPop is $10 or $25 compared to $20, $40, or $60 for V-Lane. In fact, the MadzPop home page is still offering a terrific bargain that provides a free-for-life $25-level subscription for existing members of any Maximum Network program. So you could first join MaximumSurfing.com and then register for MadzPoP and submit a contact request for the free subscription to gain the benefits of no-fee cashouts and higher referral commission earnings. His new script allows upgrades even after surfing because earnings are added at midnight. So far he has been paying very fast ... within a day or two (although 7 days are allowed by the terms). He is not offering any referral commissions, but I think that makes this program more stable. Another stability factor is a requirement that payouts of $100 or more are delayed until the member has an active upgrade amount of at least 50% of the amount of the payout. I split my spend into two concurrent upgrades a few days apart so when one expires I always have an active upgrade while waiting for the payout from the expired upgrade ... never a worry about the 50% rule for me. He narrowly avoided a closure in late December by changing the terms from 10% for 15 days to 5% for 30 days and adding some upgrade and withdrawal limitations, but these measures only forestalled its demise. Since it relied on growth to sustain its operation, the moment that upgrade deposits slowed down he was unable to continue payouts, which is a sure program-killer. He has announced that the remains of the last two weeks of upgrade funds will be placed in the P2P program to earn enough for all members who are not in profit to receive a refund.

I have seen posts by several people who say that this failure was the last straw for them and they are leaving the surfing industry for good. I have not made such a decision myself because I view any high-roi program as a gamble with a large risk of losing money, but there are other low-roi surf programs that are safer and return a profit much higher than traditional investments. As an example, the admin of Executive Ads has been running another program that is low-roi for well over a year and plans to continue its operation. Originally named NextDay90, this program is now called History-Ads and pays 1% for 150 days. Jim Williams is able to subsidize its operation with his legitimate off-line business so the risk of closure is extremely low for those who become members of this program. Other similar programs include V-Lane Traffic (1% for 365 days) and MaxAdzPoP (1% daily forever). So I will continue to dabble in high-roi sites for fun, but my serious investing will be with the more stable low-roi sites.

Maximum Adz has a new offer

Jack Cobb has had some ups and downs in the surfing industry, but has recently settled all accounts of members in his Maximum Adz and Planet Trust sites. Not everyone was happy with the final outcome, but he probably did the best he could to heal those who were not in profit. His new offer is called Maximum Adz Private Opportunity Program. Any current or past member of Maximum Surfing, Maximum Adz, or Planet Trust may join this new offer for free until April 1st when membership will be open to everyone for a limited time and then it will close again. The surfing rebate is only 1% daily but there is no expiration for upgrade purchases. They will continue for life earning 1% each day that you surf. Payouts are made within 5 business days of your request on the first of each month. Click the title of this post to check out the site. He has promised to make payments within 24 hours after ad pack expirations and has kept that promise so far, though the terms allow up to 5 business days for unusual circumstances. There are less than 100 upgraded members at this point, which makes it the kind of slow-growing site that I prefer for stability. The terms are reasonable, which also indicates a long-term program. Karenz Surf pays a rebate of 5.9% of your ad pack purchase for each surfing day up to 20 days (118% return). You must view at least 15 sites per day and may list up to 6 of your own sites in the auto-rotator. Payment processors accepted are AlertPay and SolidTrustPay and there is a 3% upgrade fee. Referral commissions = 3%. For the protection of all members, anyone with a cashout request of $1000 or more must upgrade at least half of the amount requested before being paid. This is their 8% for 15 days no-surf plan for deposits of $50 to $1000. Since there is no surfing required, I simply have to make a deposit each week and, beginning after the first 15 days, start earning a 17% profit payment each week (there is a 3% deposit fee). This is possible thanks to the admin, Jeff Taylor, who will rollover your principal and send only your profits, if you request it. For example, on day one I may deposit $500 and then on day 8 deposit another $500. On day 16 my first deposit rolls over and I receive $100 profit (minus fee). On day 22 my second deposit rolls over and I receive my profit from it. Since the 2 deposits are spaced a week apart, I receive a weekly payout of profit each time one rolls over. So, it is like a weekly paycheck for no work ... just the risk, which I think is minimal with this admin. Click the title of this posting to see the site, but the plan is not described on the home page. You must register and click the 'Upgrade' button to see the two surf plans and this no-surf plan that are offered.

Ready Surf claims 'In Profit' status

Ready Surf is a low roi site started a little over 4 months ago as a manual rotation program with four different earning plans, which are (1) 4% daily for 28 days, (2) 3% daily for 40 days, (3) 2% daily for 70 days, and (4) 1.8% daily for 90 days. Your once-daily surfing applies to all plans in which you are participating. The admin, Matt, has informed his members in an email that the site is in 'pure profit', meaning all surf earnings for current ad packs could be paid out even if upgrades came to a sudden halt. All surf programs aim for this status, but few low roi sites ever achieve it and high roi sites never achieve it. Although there are always many dangers in cyberspace that can bring down a program, the 'in profit' status goes a long way toward making a program relatively safe for members' upgrades. SolidTrustPay and AlertPay are the accepted payment processors. Auto-payout upon expiration of your ad pack purchase within 10 business days. Upgrade fee = 3% or upgrade for no fee from earnings. At first, the weekly withdrawals on Sunday were limited by how much all members had upgraded during the previous week, but that was unfair because some had upgraded much while others had upgraded little or none. The admin, Jim Williams, wanted each member to be able to individually control how much income can be earned from the program. He modified the software again so that each member may always withdraw up to 150% of the amount that the member has upgraded during the previous week. A member no longer needs to worry about what other members are doing. Withdrawals are made from the cash balance where matured upgrades accumulate after 30 surfing days. This new system eliminates the need for the 50/50 rule while still preventing any hit-and-run strategists from wrecking the program. This evolution may prove to be an industry revolution when other admins begin using the software.

Market Street Ads membership re-opened

Market Street Ads has a new script that prevents referral cheating, so they have re-opened the sign-up page to new members again. Instead of automatic payouts each day, members must request a payout on any Sunday from earnings that accumulate in the cash balance. To ensure program solvency, automatic software controls (called TIMS) will prevent withdrawals from exceeding what has been taken in as income during the week. This is accomplished by the TIMS software calculating a percentage to be applied to all withdrawal requests for that week. If the calculated percentage is less than 100%, then the portion remaining may be withdrawn next week. Also, the ability to earn 150% on upgrades has been drawn out to 30 days instead of 15 days, and a 3% upgrade fee has been added for program stability. These changes make the roi about half as good as it was, but should more than double the safety factor for investing. A close read of the FAQs is recommended before joining. Since then, the program has become so popular that daily rebate percentages have increased which, in turn, has shortened the upgrade cycle to only 10 or 11 days. As pointed out by the admin, Charles, this is hardly enough time to put the upgrade money to profitable use before it must be paid back out again. To adjust to this new circumstance, all fast payout options have been dropped. Now all payouts will only be made 7 business days after the upgrade expires. This allows the upgrade money to stay in the hands of the admin longer but, for those who have been waiting for payout before upgrading again, a new strategy is needed. The script does not allow for more than one upgrade at a time, so over-lapping upgrades is not possible, however it is possible to upgrade again immediately after an upgrade has expired. Those with limited funds can afford to do this by splitting the amount of their spend into halfs to allow the second half to be earning while waiting for the payout from the first half. Since no earning days are lost with this strategy, you can profit more even though the upgrade amounts are smaller. Another advantage is no loss of commissions which would occur if a referral upgraded while you are a free member waiting for a payout.

How to use diversification correctly

I have often seen advice about on-line investing that recommends diversifying into several programs for safety. I do not disagree, but it is important to note that each program must be carefully chosen because the number alone will not protect you if the majority of them close before you have retrieved your principal. For an example, let us say that you have $1000 to put at risk and you can't stand to lose more than $100 in any single program. Simple division indicates you should invest in at least 10 separate programs. If one fails, it might not take very long to earn back $1000 from the other nine, but if nine fail, it would be difficult indeed to earn back your total spend from just the one remaining program. So ... the lesson is this; do not spread your risk capital willy-nilly and hope you are safe because of the large number of programs you have chosen. Instead, make a concerted effort to choose each program carefully based on the reputation of the admin and the program features. Remember not to compound before getting back your original spend as quickly as possible, then you can increase your principal while staying in profit so there is no danger of a loss.

17SurfPro celebrates one year on line

Bob Peters, the admin of 17SurfPro, has made his surf program into a great success over the last 12 months and is celebrating by giving a few much-desired options to his members. From now until 31-Dec all members may compound their earnings to save on fees and build up their upgrade level (for those already maxed out the limit is raised from $3000 to $3570). Also, during this busy holiday season when it can be hard to surf every day, all payouts will be for the full 17-day surf period even if days were missed so no one will lose earnings for any days they forget to surf. Bob's program has been extremely popular because of his policy of fast payouts ... usually the same day of ad pack expiration. These additional incentives should carry the program safely through the holiday season and into 2008.

Advertising-Surf consolidates

This program had a surf site and a separate hyip site. Since both sites paid the same return, I had joined the hyip site. Now the admin has folded the hyip site into the surf site to make a consolidated program with both a surf option and a no-surf option. However, the no-surf option now pays slightly less than the surf option. To compensate, compounding is allowed daily instead of 3 times per month (minimum $5). In addition to the 365-day plan, there are 4 new higher-roi plans that pay upon expiry (15, 30, 45, and 60 days). Deposits may be made everyday until the $40000 limit is reached, so it is possible to earn $400 per day from this program. E-gold, E-bullion, LibertyReserve, Pecunix, and V-money are accepted. It is appealing to both surfers and those who prefer hyips. The surf option pays 144% in 24 days, and the no-surf option pays 150% in 30 days. The admin, Larry, stated in a recent interview that he intends to grow the membership from its current number of 700 to "be the biggest and most reliable program in its industry." He is planning to increase the current maximum of 4 ad packs totaling $600 up to 6 ad packs for those members who wish to increase their daily earnings. To help pay the returns to his members, Larry says he has additional advertising income from outside as well as income from other programs. Other features of his program are: weekly cashout each Friday paid in 3 to 5 days, 5 payment processors, 5% referral commissions, and auto-vote.

Is SurfMargin's fast cashout option worthwhile?

SurfMargin is a profit sharing program that pays 136% per cycle but allows only one upgrade at a time. To get the full 36% profit requires waiting 7 business days for the payout, however you may pay a fee to get the payout quicker. You may opt to pay 3% to be paid in 5 business days or 5% to be paid in 3 business days. Since your profit is reduced by using these options, you may wonder if they are worthwhile. To make a comparison, let us assume that each cycle is 2 weeks. That assumption results in about 16 annual payouts for the 7 biz day option, or 18 annual payouts for the 5 biz day option, or 20 annual payouts for the 3 biz day option. If you upgraded $1000 each time, then your profits for the year would be $5760, or $5940, or $6200, respectively. Clearly, lowering your profit per cycle from 36% to 31% in order to get the payout faster is worthwhile. Of course, there are other strategies in which you can upgrade immediately while waiting for a payout which may earn more, but at a higher level of risk. It would be safe to try this once you are in profit and all upgrades are from earnings, so your risk is zero.

Who's a scammer?

You don't have to read forums for long before you see accusations that an admin is a scammer or his program is a scam site. Sometimes such an accusation is true, but frequently it is only ranting by someone who was unlucky enough to lose money instead of making the hoped-for bundle of cash. So what is the difference if money is lost? Certainly, an admin who walks away from a program with a large amount of money as he had planned to do from the start is guilty of scamming his members. However, an admin who closes a program because the payouts have exceeded the income from upgrades is not a scammer but a schemer (as in pyramid scheme). As long as he kept no more than the normal 5% for running the program then he may be known as an 'honest admin' who runs an 'honest ponzi.' The fact that running a ponzi is illegal in most countries usually means nothing in cyberspace. Those who join a high-roi program should surely know that it is a ponzi and they will be among the many losers if they have joined too late. When 'too late' will occur is the unknown factor everyone who plays these games tries to determine.

There is one other type of admin that is nearly as bad as a scammer ... the one who turns a majority of his members into losers due to inexperience or incompetence. This admin is not trying to steal money from his members, but good intentions are a poor substitute for good script security and a good choice for a partner. An admin who trusts a crook to handle income or allows hackers to divert funds has really let his members down and deserves the criticism he gets, even if he is inaccurately called a scammer.

Some improvements for V-Lane Traffic

I noticed this month that my subscription for V-Lane Traffic (or more properly Mrs V's Income Portal) was renewed automatically from my cash balance without making a manual request as I had to do previously. Also, a referral commission that had been paid under a payment processor that I did not use, and was therefore inaccessible to me, has been moved to my selected payment processor cash balance. I am sure that many like me were glad to see this problem solved. Finally, today an announcement was made that AlertPay will be dropped as a payment processor. Although this may be bad news for those few who were still using it, the result should be an enhancement of operating efficiency for V-Lane Traffic. After receiving 3 months of same-day payouts, I really had no serious complaints about this program, but it is nice to see steady improvements are being made.

The best 'old' surf to join is NextDay90

Most veterans of the surf world will tell you that any program more than 75 days old is risky to join because it might be nearing the end of its life span. So why do I recommend NextDay90 which has been in operation for a year this month? There are three reasons...

1) The admin, Jim Williams, is very forthright and dedicated to keeping the program viable. He has never varied from same-day payouts for all withdrawals. He has set a goal to more than double the current membership of 1200 in the next 6 months. Since interest in ND90 has been spurred by his extremely popular new program, Executive Ads, then this goal should be easy to attain.

2) The program structure is based on profit-sharing so payouts can never get ahead of income. Of course, the daily earning only rarely gets above its usual 1% or so (it did spike to 9% recently) but the admin is adamant about maintaining the financial integrity and independence of his flagship program. No need to join ND90 in order to earn in EA now.

Max-out strategy: Purchase a $50 subscription and then upgrade $200 per day. On day 15 you reach the maximum $3000 upgrade level. On day 16 you begin pocketing $79 per day in profit. On day 30 renew the $50 subscription. On day 56 you reach the 'in profit' level and no longer have any of your own funds at risk and continue to pocket $79 per day profit while upgrading $200 per day. That mimimum spend amount is now raised from $10 to $100 and soon all payment processors previously used will be dropped in favor of his own 'Energy Bank' debit card, which will require verification of each member's identification. So what can you do if the $100 minimum is too high for you, or if you do not wish to divulge personal information to his bank? You can instead put your money in any of several surf sites that are completely dependent on P-2-P for earning enough to pay their own members. These sites should prosper as long as P-2-P prospers. The 6 sites are run by two admins...
1) Kent runs ProsourceAds, AdsPrivate, and DollarDayHits
2) Richard runs MarketStreetAds, CashingNsurf, and Z-proSurf

What's up with Income Storm?

Many people are complaining in the forums that their withdrawal requests are not paid and have been returned to cash balance. The admin explains that their e-Gold account has been blocked and the documentation has been submitted to get it un-blocked, but in the meantime there are only limited funds from which to make payments. Yesterday there was an announcement that new withdrawal requests for $10 or less per day would be honored. I put this to the test by requesting a $10 withdrawal and was paid a few hours later and I see others posting that they have been paid $10 also. I applaud this effort to regain member confidence, however I doubt that new spends will resume until all pending cashouts have been caught up. Since e-Gold is very slow to act, then it will amaze me if Income Storm can survive this crisis.

Executive Ads has begun payouts

After some minor startup glitches that were quickly fixed, Executive Ads has passed the 15-day mark and begun to make payouts to those who upgraded on day one. Some who were paid re-upgraded the same amount and put the 43% profit in their pockets, while others plowed it all back in so they might reach the maxed-out level of $3000. I noticed as I logged in each day that there seems to be subscriptions and upgrade packages available so members are not 'waiting in line' as some were on the first or second days. Also, the admin has reduced the requirement for participation in NextDay90 so that it is only necessary to register in NextDay90 before registering in Executive Ads, and then become an 'active advertiser' in NextDay90 before upgrading in Executive Ads. As you might guess, due to the popularity of Executive Ads, NextDay90 has had a growth spurt. Just yesterday it had a daily return over 9% instead of the usual 1% or so. I guess if it becomes popular enough it might turn into a high-roi site like its new sister site.

Found the real deal? ... do not bet the farm

You may be trying your best to steer clear of Hyips and Surfs that might turn out to be a failure because they are pyramid schemes (ponzi). So you invest only when you are convinced that the program admin is using your funds for real trading or investing and paying you from his profits minus a fee. That is fine, but you must still be careful not to break the most important rule of on-line investing ... do not spend more in any program than you can stand to lose. No matter how much you find out about the admin or how 'real' and 'transparent' he may seem to be, there is absolutely no guarantee that he will be competent or operate without running into an unforeseen problem. Here are just two examples of how this can happen...

North Sea Forex Group was established by two young amateur traders with many promises of honesty and good intentions. Ken and Paul certainly had a good reputation at that time. After several months of good results and a large increase in the number of people depositing funds with them, they made a legal mistake (based on bad advice from a lawyer) which resulted in confiscation of a large part of the funds. In a desperate attempt to recoup the loss for their members, they altered their trading practices and ran up large losses there until they finally closed the business. Some investors lost thousands here because they believed they were in a 'safe' program. Do not make the same mistake yourself.

FX Experts was established by Marcos Matos who hired others to do the actual trading of the funds provided by members. You can find his passport, phone bill, and satellite picture of his home on the web even now. Unfortunately, Marcos did not control and monitor the actions of his traders closely enough and ran into large losses after initially getting good results. Again, some investors lost thousands. I hope you can see just how risky it can be to trust anyone with your money. That is the price of dealing with high-return programs that do not offer any guarantees or insurance like the large institutions such as banks where your money is safe but you get a low return. Learn from these examples and spread your risk.

News for Planet Trust egold losers

Jack Cobb, admin of Planet Trust, has finally taken action for those who lost money and were e-Gold users. For now, only those who lost $500 or more may take advantage of this plan. To qualify, you must go to the MaximumTalk forum (click the title above to go there) and post in the thread that has been set up for you to enter your name, PT user number, and e-Gold account number. Where are the funds coming from to pay you? Not from e-Gold ... Jack's account there is still frozen. To get paid, you must sign up for one or more of the programs listed on the home page of Planet Trust. Any commissions collected by Jack on your spends in these programs will be paid back to you to reduce your losses. This was his tool for making payouts. It took a couple of weeks to recover (bad business practice not to be better prepared), so he got behind in payouts which, of course, panicked the members into suspending any new spends. Predictably, he ran out of money and could no longer continue the payouts. Usually this means the end of a program, but Joe is stubbornly committed to TNICC and has proposed a bailout plan. A new $7 matrix (5 x 2) will be established to generate income to cover both the matrix members and TNICC overdue payouts. The matrix is already available to TNICC members and will soon be offered to the general public. Whether or not this plan will work is anyone's guess, but I salute Joe for making the effort at least.

Surf bar versus banner clicks

Most of the surf programs I have joined provide an ad rotator called a 'surf bar' which displays one ad after another either automatically on a timer or manually (that is, click a button to see the next one after the timer winds down). Recently, however, I have found and joined 3 programs that do not use a surf bar ... instead a list of banners is shown from which I click any one that I choose to view a corresponding ad. There is no timer so I can close the ad immediately and click another banner which means I can proceed quite rapidly. Since these programs require only 5 banner clicks to gain the earnings for the day, then I am very soon done. All 3 utilize e-Gold only, but payouts are daily and usually completed within a day or two.

If you would like to check out one or more of these programs then click the name:
Steady Daily Shares pays about 1.5% for 120 days = 180% roi
Income Storm pays about 4.3% for 30 days = 129% roi
Great Earnings pays about 6% for 21 days = 126% roi

Executive Ads is growing ... slowly

The admin of Executive Ads, Jim Williams, warned that his new Total Income Management Software (TIMS) would exercise tight control over operations and he was not kidding. Those who were able to capture a registration opportunity this first weekend of operation found that subscriptions were very limited and some (like me) had to wait until Sunday to get one. Even after getting a subscription, I had to upgrade less than I wished on my first day. This control is designed to limit 'front-end' loaders who might then disappear after one or two payouts. By Monday morning, new registrations were already closed temporarily until more subscriptions become available. The promise of all this control is that the program will have slow and steady growth that will ensure its continued operation. The limitations will actually be a drawing card for new members because they will be willing to wait in line, if necessary, for such a rare opportunity.

As explained earlier, you must be already be an active advertiser in NextDay90.com before upgrading in Executive Ads, where you may earn 10% daily for 15 days on upgrades totaling up to $3000.

17 Surf Pro is back on track

Bob Peters, the admin of 17SurfPro, has announced that all outstanding back payments have been caught up and should remain that way. The problem developed some weeks back when he had difficulty moving funds into his e-Gold account and fell behind from his usual same-day payouts. That was when I asked him to switch my payment processor from e-Gold to SolidTrustPay, so I did not experience the delays that some members had to endure. After seeing other programs falter and fold due to this type of problem, I am certainly happy that he was able to triumph and get back on track. It can take the form of getting an admin's egold account blocked or even mounting a DDOS attack, or it may just be name-calling or the use of bad language against someone in forum postings. I know this is an attempt to feel better about some bad circumstances, but in the long run it will result in just the opposite effect. The pursuit of revenge and other such negative emotions will only ensure that you will remain miserable. You cannot lay in the gutter and not get up dirty. My advice is not to place yourself in the same class as those who abuse you but, rather, take the higher road and choose not to hate those who have earned such ire. You have no choice but to live with yourself every minute of the day, so make yourself into someone you admire with personal integrity and a positive outlook on life and you will enjoy your own company so much that happiness will result. As a side benefit, others will like you, too.

A surf targeted to other site admins

Executive-Ads is a new surf program in pre-launch this week that is targeted to online business owners, program administrators and multi-level marketing companies. Actually, anyone who is an active advertiser in its parent company, NextDay90.com (a profit-sharing surf that has been on-line for a year), may join this new site which pays 10% per day for 15 days (roi=150%) on spends up to $3000. The owner, Jim Williams, claims to have a new proprietary script called Total Income Management Software (TIMS) which limits subscriptions and upgrades in order to maintain a balance to payouts, so all subscribers are ensured a profit each month. Such 'robotic-like' control of the program sounds intriguing enough to give it a try. At least the admin has a good track record with NextDay90, which has maintained same-day payouts since its inception.

Hooray! I am in profit at last...

I am sure you have seen a posting in which a claim about being 'in profit' with some program has been made by someone. Just how do they (or you) know when that golden 'in profit' level has been reached? It is actually fairly simple to determine, but you must keep a record of your spends and withdrawals from each program that you have in your portfolio. You can set up a simple spreadsheet on your computer or, if you fear hard drive failures, you can use an off-line log book (I do it both ways myself). Under the name of each program you record the date and amount of your first spend as a negative amount. If your next transaction is a withdrawal, then on the next line you record the date and amount as a positive amount and next to it show the sum of this transaction and the last amount on the line above. This number is your 'running total' of all spends and withdrawals for the program. As long as the running total remains negative you are not in profit. When it turns positive (and stays that way) you are in profit and you are safe from sudden closure of the program for any reason.

Caution: if your program has its own payment processor (e.g., CEPtrust, MoneyChangers) then keep track of transactions to and from the PP rather than the program to determine if you are in profit. After all, the money is still in their hands until you get it out of the payment processor, which is why I avoid these types of arrangements.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://fortune-builder.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html#4422002224379129835' title='Hooray! It must be extra money that, although painful to lose, would not cause serious financial damage to your long-term budget. There is a high possibility that you could lose all your on-line spends, especially if you are new to this crazy game.

One rule of thumb to remember is that the higher the profits on your spend, the higher the risk. However, any number of programs offering the same returns may still have very different risk levels, depending greatly on the honesty and capability of the admin running the program. Determining whether or not an admin is honest and capable is the hardest part in performing due diligence, but I believe it is the most important. If you know nothing about an admin, then you must assume he will disappear at any moment. If all you know is what is said by posters on forums, then you really know nothing about him because you can't rely on what posters say. If an admin has scammed in the past you must assume he has NOT reformed and will do so again. If the site looks unprofessional (missing terms, broken links, many misspellings), then you must assume the admin is incompetent and a higher risk.

Personally, I like to keep my risk level low so I rarely venture into a high-roi program (although I did too many times when I was a newbie), but some people enjoy the thrill of winning a high-risk gamble. It's a matter of personal choice, but do not spend blindly or you will soon be broke.

One offer I won't refuse

I always advise people never to accept an enticing offer because it may be a grab for cash before disappearing. However, I will take advantage of the 10 percent rebate offer by Next Day 90 as part of its celebration for making the one-year on-line mark. The reason I feel this is a valid offer is due to the commitment of the admin, Jim Williams, to maintain an on-going business that is based on paying out only as much as is paid in (that is, a profit-sharing model). Also, this is not the first time he has made such an offer, and my experience with it last time was a good one. The 10% rebate on any new upgrade is paid immediately back to your payment processor and is on top of the 150% earnings received for surfing the upgrade period. The only limitations are that the upgrade is not on the same day as a withdrawal (to avoid confusion) and that it be made before 8-Oct. That means any new upgrades you make this week will all get 10% rebates. If you have been thinking about joining this program, now is a good time to do it. Daily earnings have been consistent at about 1.1% but will probably be better during these promotions so that is another reason to join now.

What is Black December?

December seems to be the time of year when many on-line investment programs close, leaving a lot of people at a financial loss. November and even October are sometimes included in this 'black' category. One theory for this phenomenon is that members of the programs pull out so much money to make holiday purchases that the programs are unable to sustain themselves (which would certainly be the case for any ponzi). Another theory is that so many people have come to expect the effect that they become overly cautious and the result is a self-fulfilling prophecy (that is, they get what they expect just because their expectation modifies their behavior). There might be something to this theory since it is well known that the stocks and bonds markets ebb and flow in accordance with the fears and expectations of buyers and sellers. Whatever the cause, as we approach the last quarter of the year, it would definitely not be wise to break any of the on-line investing rules that I have discussed in previous blog postings.

Tramael is a classic example of...

On-line investing is always high-risk because you are handing your money to people who offer no valid guarantee or insurance that you will get back what you spend, let alone any profit. Many are scammers who will disappear when they think the moment is ripe. Some program admins believe they are honest, but they honestly believe they owe you nothing if anything goes wrong even if due to their own mistakes. I will, however, say that an admin who has a reputation for honesty is a better bet than one who is unknown. Nonetheless, every spend is a gamble until you have gotten back your own money and are spending only your profits back into the program. I have heard it said that it is wise to identify a program with a good track record and make a large commitment to it to gain faster profits. Tramael, a surf program, is a classic example of how this thinking can backfire. It performed flawlessly for over 11 months and very suddenly went bankrupt, as announced by the admin, Nein Vodello. I was stung by this event myself since I was not yet in profit. So here is the on-line investing principle you should never forget... Past performance is NOT an indication of future performance.

How many email accounts are needed?

I would say anyone doing on-line investing should have a minimum of 3 email accounts. First you need one for personal communications with friends and acquaintenences. Many use the email account provided by their internet service provider for personal mail but I don't because I prefer the freedom of changing to another isp without the hassle of notifying everyone of my new address. You need a second email account to be used exclusively for your on-line payment processors. NEVER use that one for any other on-line programs such as surfs or hyips. The third email account that you need is for surfs and hyips and similar programs. You may also use this one for forum memberships but some would argue that a fourth account is needed for monitors and forums only, to contain the spam you may get from them. There are, of course, many sites offering free email service, but I will recommend 3 sites which provide relatively good service. They are Google, Yahoo, and Safe-Mail. Of course, if the forum is not public, then the forum owner has the right to delete or censor the posting. Although I agree that everyone has the right to make a negative posting in public forums, I do not believe it is always wise to do it. The opposite of a negative poster is the so-called 'cheerleader' who makes only positive postings regardless of the performance of the program under discussion. I think both of these are dangerous, but in different ways. The cheerleader may mislead others into spending unwisely so they are guilty of harming others to protect themselves. The negative posting that is untrue makes the poster guilty of harming others to satisfy a desire for revenge. Even the negative posting that is true can harm others if it creates a 'run on the bank' type atmosphere that brings down the program prematurely. So what's the bottom line? Each person should ask of themselves before posting negatively, "Will this post improve the situation for me or others?" If the answer is "No" then resist the temptation to spout off just to make yourself feel better.

Will TNICC survive a growth spurt?

Joe, the admin of The New Internet Cash Club, has just issued an email update in which he admits he can no longer keep up next-day payouts and answer all tickets quickly by himself. That is exactly what Joe has committed to doing ... increasing staff to alleviate any backlog in the future. Of course, he must have someone he can trust to help with payouts, so he is recruiting his daughter-in-law, Janice. It will take a little while to get her trained, so do not expect an over-night fix to the slower payments which are sometimes taking up to 5 days. If you are nervous about your spends in this program, you can still make money without surfing just by using their free PTC option, where you can earn a dollar or two each day by clicking links and viewing the ads for 20 seconds each.

Protect yourself from Internet thieves!

It is a well-known fact that cyberspace is filled with crooks who are constantly trying to divert your funds into their hands. You must take steps to protect yourself. I am always seeing sad stories in the forums about the loss of all funds from an egold account or similar event. There is free software available that will prevent this from happening to you. Click the title of this article to see my list of links to free software that I use. Check yourself on the items below...

1. Make sure your computer has firewall protection. If you have a router, it should have a free firewall option that you can turn on. Your browser should offer some protection for free if you turn it on. Otherwise, get a free firewall program from the internet and install it on your computer. Install several programs that improve security by blocking unauthorized downloads and by cleaning out trojans, keyloggers, etc.

2. To protect your valuable information from hard drive failure, keep a hand-written log book where you record each website URL you join and the member ID, password, and email you entered for that site. Keep a running total of spends and withdrawals for each program. Protect your log book carefully from fire, theft, loss, etc.

3. For all payment processors you have, set up an email account for them that is not used anyplace else. Make sure each payment processor has its own complicated passphrase. Never type a password using your keyboard. Instead, use an on-screen keyboard that enters your password through mouse-clicks. At the very least, type only the first few characters and the last few characters of your password and then click back into the middle to then enter the missing characters, since keyloggers cannot follow the location of mouse-clicks.

4. Do not respond to emails asking for information about your payment processor, especially if you are asked to click a link inside the email to 'verify your account.' These are phishing emails and can look very official but are bogus.

A no-surf option from Advertising-Surf

Advertising-Surf is a low-roi site that claims to have an outside revenue source. Also, there are many people with good intentions who will lose your money due to their own incompetence. To avoid having your losses exceed your gains does require some personal discipline in sticking to the proven rules of operation. You can read all about my Total Investment Plan HERE, but the most important rules that you should never break are...

1. Never spend more in a single program than you can stand to lose.
2. Never compound your earnings until after you are in profit.
3. The rebound has been successful because no members lost any money during the re-start. All ad pack purchases that had not reached expiration were refunded, which is much better than other programs that have refunded only those not in profit. The admin of Surf Margin, Charles Goldenstein, has explained that he has outside investors who subsidize the site so it can continue indefinitely to pay the surfing members a profit of 36% on all spends.

Since it is a profit-sharing program, the daily earnings for surfing vary from 5% up to 15%, however there is always a cash bonus that pops up during surfing each day to add at least $2 to your earnings for the day. Since the automatic rotator is set at only 10 seconds per site, you must watch closely to catch the bonus. The bonuses help you to reach 136% in about 2 weeks unless you miss surfing days for vacation or other reasons, but you always get 136% per cycle. You are allowed only one upgrade at a time and the minimum is $50 which drastically decreases the number of 'referral hunters.' Max upgrade amount is $5000. SolidTrustPay and e-Gold are accepted. Normal payouts follow expiration of your ad pack purchase in 7 days, but you can get paid faster by paying a fee (3% for a 5-day payout or 5% for a 3-day payout). I am happy that I stuck with this one as it seems to have great promise for the future.

Recover your lost funds (maybe)

For those who have lost money in payment processors or other programs, there is hope to get back a small percentage of your loss by filing a claim. They had told members that they were having hosting problems and would be back, but we have all heard that one from many sites that scammed away with all funds. It's always a pleasant experience to find a truthful admininstration who, by the way, are extending all share purchases so no one will lose any money. I was feeling lucky that I was already in profit with this one but now I am feeling even luckier for the opportunity to continue making profits from a site that seems to have some sticking power. This one is definitely worth a look. One handy feature is the allowance by the admin to upgrade with one payment processor and withdraw to another so you can move your funds between e-Gold and AlertPay with no transfer fees.

Pays about 1.5% on your $15 to $15000 payment for each day you view 5 web sites, up to 120 days. Many programs were started on this model in the fall of 2006 but, as we learned, most failed as quickly as the high-roi ponzi sites, mostly due to incompetent admins. Next Day 90 has stuck to the model and paid out only what it has taken in for almost a year at this point and seems to be headed for that theoretical 'forever' lifetime. Daily earnings rarely vary from about 1.1% and upgrades expire at 140%, so it can take a while to get into a profit position. However, the safety of this low-roi site compared to the volatility of high-roi ponzi sites makes it an attractive choice. I believe the admin, Jim Williams, has the determination and competency to keep Next Day 90 going strong.

Mrs V's Income Portal made easy

There are several dimensions to Mrs V's money-making site and more will be added later, but for now there are two ways to generate income ... the matrix and the surf. Actually, the surf has 3 options so you could say there are 4 ways to make money. Since this is a subscription site, the first decision you must make is what level is best for you ... $20, $40, or $60 per month. The minimum amount will satisfy many, but some will choose the higher levels if they are good recruiters or plan to make large spends. The only way to know for sure is to visit the forum and read all about the advantages of each level. The subscription automatically places you into the 3x9 matrix where you can earn quickly by recruiting, or eventually without recruiting since you will benefit from spillover from your upline. You can also purchase ad packs in V-Lane and be paid for viewing other's ads.

After registering, you first fund your backoffice wallet from your SolidTrustPay, AlertPay, or e-Bullion account with enough to pay the monthly subscription fee. Then add more funds to your backoffice wallet so you may participate in V-Lane Traffic to earn from viewing ads. There are 3 plans: 1% for 365 days, 2% for 65 days, or a variable 3-8% daily reaching a total of 115%. You may choose one, two, or three plans but you only need to view the same number of ads to earn from all 3 plans at the same time. You may withdraw your earnings each month, but it is handy to leave enough to pay your monthly subscription automatically from your earnings.

For most members, any gain from the matrix will be modest at first so the site may be described as low-roi, however the commitment by its administrators to be a long-term program should make it a worthwhile addition to your earning portfolio.

A great low-roi surf site: Fair-Surf

Randy, who is also admin of Swift-Hits since Dec-06, is very responsive to members and always pays quickly. Try Income Storm

The e-Gold system is certainly under a strain these days, so many admins are dropping it as a payment processor. If you are looking for a way to put your remaining e-Gold funds to work then Income Storm is working well and has a fast payout policy. You can earn 4.3% or more on your $10 to $1000 payment for each day you view 5 web sites, up to 30 days. Request withdrawal any day to your e-Gold account and it is processed the same day. My experience with this one has been very good so far.

<link rel='related' href='http://www.incomestorm.net/?ref=865' title='Looking for an e-Gold only site? However, TNICC has another face ... a profit-share option. If you choose to purchase shares at $10 each then you will be paid $0.80 (8%) per week for each share by viewing 10 websites per day. The shares do not expire for a full year and you may withdraw earnings each Thursday (minimum $15). Earnings are posted on Wednesdays so you can make an overnight 8% on any shares purchased on Tuesdays. Three payment processors are accepted: e-Gold, AlertPay, and SolidTrustPay. So far, I have had no problems with my participation in this option.

17SurfPro pays out fast again

Bob Peters, admin at 17SurfPro, has not been able to pay quickly for matured e-Gold upgrades due to problems funding his own e-Gold account. He was helpful enough to change me over and paid me right away. Now I have an STP upgrade and I am back to surfing and earning. One way to avoid that situation is to join a site that pays without requiring you to purchase anything. You won't make a large amount from these sites, but some pay better than others. I like The New Internet Cash Club because you can earn one to three cents for each ad link that you click to view a web site for 20 seconds. Although they offer shares to purchase, you are not required to buy any. You can join for free and just click the 'PTC' button to see the list of links for that day. There are several pages of links and you must click the 'Next Page' link after you finish each page. You will earn $0.75 to $1.50 and twice that amount on the Krazy Days that are provided throughout each month. This site has been paying for over a year and seems reliable.

Need help to build your fortune?

The answers to all your questions are FREE.
